BLOM Aerofilms has a unique solution to the production of 3D models for integration with spatial databases to create a virtual 3D GIS. By utilising a variety of technologies such as LiDAR, vertical stereo photography and Pictometry oblique image libraries, BLOM Aerofilms can create accurate and realistic models like no other.

Use of oblique image libraries exclusive to the company, provide for the accurate verification of detail, thus greatly reducing the need for site visits and ensuring that the most appropriate roof and façade is applied when rendering a building. 

Based on our considerable experience of ground modelling, coupled with extensive photogrammetric resources and software options, ensure that deployment for web, intranet or desktop is optimised. BLOM Aerofilms has its own GIS engine development programme using a modular architecture which is compatible with ESRI’s ArcSDE engine, a GIS industry standard, also with Oracle, SQL and other DBMS.

As with all solutions provided by BLOM Aerofilms, each component is compliant with all recognised industry standards.
