Hawk Eye II, with its unique capacity to obtain both bathymetric and topographic data simultaneously, is ideally suited to coastal zone mapping and shallow water survey tasks.

Hawk Eye II provides full-swath coverage for hydrographic surveys of the seabed from the shoreline to 3x secchi disk visibility. Typically, depths in excess of 30m can be measured and, in optimum conditions, depths to 70m are possible.

Coastline Definition

The Hawk Eye II system provides clearly defined borders between land and water - the polarisation of the reflected light clearly differentiates between land (dry surfaces) and the water at the pixel level.

Topographic Surveys 

The system provides high-resolution digital definition of land areas.
