REPURCHASE OF SHARES

On 12 June 2008, Blom ASA purchased 15 000 of its own shares at an average price of NOK 44.07 per share. Blom now holds 711 200 of its own shares,
which is equivalent to 1.7% of the total number of shares outstanding.

Blom`s share buyback program, which will last until the annual general meeting in 2009 (30 June 2009 at the latest), covers purchases of up to 2.4 % of
shares outstanding (1 million shares).

29. maj fejrede BlomInfo jubilæet med en reception på DAC (Dansk Arkitektur Center), et spændende foredrag om Havnen og en guidet sejltur i den sydlige del af Københavns Havn.

Rigtig mange kunder, forretningsforbindelser og venner af firmaet var med til at gøre dagen festlig. Det er vi meget glade for.

I forbindelse med jubilæet har vi lavet en oversigt over nogle af de mange tusind projekter BlomInfo har gennemført i de forgangne 10 år. Projekterne spænder fra traditionelle kortlægningsopgaver, konvertering af ledningsplaner for forsyningsvirksomheder, over sofwareudvikling, udenlandske konsulentopgaver til etablering af landsdækkende højdemodel, ortofotos og 3D bymodeller.

which is equivalent to 1.6% of the total number of shares outstanding.

Blom increases cooperation with Microsoft

In 2006 Blom announced a 5-year agreement with Microsoft Corp. regarding use of Blom’s oblique image database for all cities with more than 50 000 inhabitants in 23 European countries, i.e. approximately 1 000 cities. These images can be viewed on Microsoft’s Live Search Maps site, http://maps.live.com.

The initial capturing of the database is in the final stage of completion. In order to ensure that the database is always updated, Blom will regularly capture images of the areas in the 23 countries. Furthermore, Blom has decided to expand the database of oblique images to 20 countries in the eastern part of Europe.

As part of Microsoft’s 5-year commitment, Microsoft will be consuming portions of the updated and additional imagery as it is made available by Blom. This will be formalized in an agreement between Microsoft and Blom.

Blom expects the delivery of updates and additional imagery to have a total value of NOK 200 million the next two years.

Blom is thrilled that Microsoft has decided to expand the extent of its cooperation.

Blom’s database is the largest uniform database of its kind. Blom believes the database could form the basis for future web-based solutions as well as future solutions within navigation and location based services to the fast growing market for mobile phones and other handheld wireless terminals.

SE DE FØRSTE DIGITALE FLYBILLEDER ONLINE ALLEREDE I DAG

BlomInfo er i fuld gang med at producere landsdækkende ortofotos i 20 cm pixelopløsning og byortofotos i 10 cm pixel opløsning. Allerede nu er der mulighed for at se flyfotos af en række områder i Danmark. Som en ekstra unik mulighed kan brugerne straks får gavn af de nye optagelser ved at hente billederne via WMS. Det vil sige at alle meget nemt kan få adgang fra alle gængse desktop og webGIS allerede i dag.

DISCLOSURE OF SHAREHOLDINGS

Pursuant to an exemption provided to Luxor Capital Group, LP by the Oslo Bors, Luxor Spectrum, LLC and Luxor Spectrum Offshore, Ltd., funds managed
by Luxor Capital Group, LP, purchased 6,000 shares and 208,000 shares, respectively, of Blom ASA after the close of trading on May 2, 2008 from
other accounts managed by Luxor Capital Group, LP. The purchasing funds did not own any shares of Blom ASA prior to the transactions, and following the transactions Luxor Spectrum, LLC and Luxor Spectrum Offshore, Ltd. owned 0.01% and 0.52%, respectively, of the shares of Blom ASA.

The total number of shares of Blom ASA held by Luxor Capital Group, LP did not change as a result of the transactions described above.

REPURCHASE OF SHARES

On 29 April 2008, the annual general meeting gave the Board of Directors of Blom ASA a power of attorney to buy back up to 10% of the shares
outstanding in Blom ASA.

According to the power of attorney from the Board of Directors Blom ASA, Blom ASA has decided to continue its buyback program of up to one million shares.

Blom`s share buyback program, which will last until the annual general meeting in 2009 (30 June 2009 at the latest), covers purchases of up to 2.4 % of shares outstanding (1 million shares).

REPORT 1ST QUARTER 2008 - RESULTS ACCORDING TO PLAN

Blom started 2008 with higher than expected revenues and earnings. The company reports operating revenues of NOK 200 million for the 1st quarter, compared with NOK 137 million for the corresponding period last year, and an EBITDA result of NOK 29 million, compared with NOK 17 million for the 1st quarter of 2007.

This corresponds to an EBITDA margin of 14.7% for the period this year, compared with 12.8% for the 1st quarter last year. The comparable figures for 2007 are exclusive of the Scan Subsea business, which was demerged in 2007.

Revenue growth of 46% and an EBITDA improvement of 69% compared with the 1st quarter last year were achieved primarily through organic growth, based on
strong operations in the traditional areas in all countries, at the same time as our investments in databases and navigation started to show good results.

In the 1st quarter the company depreciated NOK 18 million and invested NOK 17 million in databases and advanced technology. NOK 25 million was used to purchase the company`s own shares. The equity ratio has remained stable at 55% since the start of 2008.

The company maintains its strong financial foundation for future growth with cash reserves of NOK 269 million and low net interest-bearing liabilities. The company possesses a high level of competence, unique databases and proprietary applications. The 1st quarter earnings show that the company`s focused efforts to build up unique databases and develop proprietary solutions for navigation and other location-based services for use on the Internet and in handheld mobile units are starting to bear fruit. Blom received strong feedback from the market that the company`s solutions provide a better user experience shortly after they were launched. The market for navigation and location-based services has shown strong growth in recent years, and this growth is expected to continue.

NEW CEO, CHAIRMAN AND ADVISOR TO THE BOARD

Blom`s many exciting business opportunities call for higher competence and a strengthened organization on all levels. Blom has therefore completed certain organizational changes.

The Board of Directors of Blom has appointed Håkon Jacobsen as new CEO/Managing Director in Blom. Jacobsen came to Blom from Accenture where he was Managing Director for Telecommunication and High Tech for Asia and the Pacific. Jacobsen is 45 years old and holds a graduate engineer degree from NTNU, Trondheim, Norway.

Dirk Blaauw will take over as Chairman of the Board. The present Chairman of the Board, Per Kyllingstad, will continue as member of the board.

The Board of Directors has decided to engage Winston Guilleroy as Advisor to the Board. Guilleroy recently held the position as Senior Vice President for NAVTEQ Consumer and Enterprise Sales. Guilleroy has lead NAVTEQ subsidiaries in Americas and EMEA, as well as lead sales and marketing for all NAVTEQ businesses in North America. NAVTEQ is the market leader within digital map information for navigation. Guilleroy has more than 20 years of sales leadership experience within technology and has worked for companies like Intermec, Weblink, Connectware and IBM.

Håkon Jacobsen`s international experience, especially within the IT/Telecom business at top management level, and Winston Guilleroy`s international sales leadership experience in the technology area will strengthen the management of
the Group especially in its focus on establishing unique databases and development of application for navigation and other location based services
related to the internet and handhold mobile units.
