Digital Mapping


Blom Nusantara welcomes challenges and has the ability to accommodate new tasks thus satisfying the customers requirements and needs. We have a large capacity, highly qualified personnel with up-to-date knowledge in Mapping / GIS and programming resources to help optimize a variety of production workflows.

Typical tasks are:
- Softcopy Photogrammetric Stereo Compilation Softcopy photogrammetric stereo compilation in Digital Photogrammetric Workstations running the uSMART software on Bentley's MicroStation J/V8 platform.
- Map Data Editing Editing of map data using highly automated and customable programs and procedures.
- Map Data Upgrading  Upgrading of map data from old standards to modern and advanced standards suitable for Geospatial Information Systems.
- Map Data Updating Updating of old map data using the super impositioning functionality within the uSMART photogrammetric software.
- Data Conversion and Transformation Conversion and transformation of map data between different geographic data formats and geodetic projections.
- Raster Transformations

Reprojection of raster images using ERDAS Imagine geographic imaging software.

- Project Assistance

Assist in creation of map and project specifications, work procedures, mapping standards as well as quality assurance documentation and quality control routines.

- Aerial Triangulation Measurements and Adjustments

Aerial triangulation measurement and processing running well renomated bundle adjustment software PATB and ISAT.

- Digital Orthophoto Map Production

Digital orthophoto and orthophoto map production. Delivery on most industry standards.

- Digital Terrain Modelling (DTM/TIN) capture

Digital terrain model capture using automatic correlation and/or manual stereo digitizing. Sophisticated dynamic DTM/TIN routines are used to reach and document the required accuracy.

- Digital Terrain Modelling (DTM) processing

Assigning height to 2D vector data where the height value is extracted from a DTM, from a swarm, grid or contour model. We also generate contour lines based on swarm and grid data, where we include break lines.

- 3D Building Models and TRUE Orthophotos 3D building Models and TRUE Orthophotos with vertical buildings and hidden areas filled from adjoining images based on visibility analysist.
