DIGITAL MAPPING FOR TELECOMMUNICATION COMPANY

TERRAITALY LIBRARY: AERIAL PHOTO COVERAGE AND ORTHOPHOTO OF ITALY

In 1988-89 CGR produced aerial photo coverage and orthophotos of the whole Italian territory for the Italian Government. The project was updated during 1994, and during 1999-2000 the “IT2000“ project was accomplished.

LIDAR SURVEY OF PO RIVER BASIN IN ITALY

In year 2000 CGR started to use Lidar systems to produce detailed Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) that covered the different areas of Italy. The DTMs were for example used for ortophoto production, flood simulation, geomorphologic studies, coastal surveys and modelling.

FORESTRY INVENTORY IN ITALY - USING HYPERSPECTRAL SCANNER 

The Mivis hyperspectral scanner is able to record the signature from the infrared part of the spectrum in different channels. This allows for the possibility to study  vegetation.

ASBESTOS ROOF DETECTION AND THEMATIC MAPPING IN PUGLIA, ITALY

In 2005 a project was executed for the Ministry of Interior in Italy which detected asbestos roofs in the Puglia region, Italy. Earlier, minor projects had been executed to detect these roofs, but never before had this application been used in a project covering a total surface of 20 000 sq.km.  

OIL DETECTION WITH HYPERSPECTRAL SCANNER IN TUNISIA

In cooperation with ENI, the most important oil company in Italy, surveys were conducted in the deserts of Algeria in year 2000 and in El Borma, Tunisia in 2003.

For the Spanish Community Castilla y Lèon Autonomous in Spain management schemes, exploition plans, forest inventories and impact studies elaboration projects were executed between 2002 and 2005.

MAPPING AND MODELLING PROJECT IN PARAGUAY

During 1999 and 2000 a Cadastral Information System development project was executed for The Cadastral National Service, Republic of Paraguay, for rural cadastre management and maintenance and cadastral ground survey implementation. 

GIS IMPLEMENTATION FOR CLEANING SERVICES

Between 2002 and 2006 Geographic Information Systems (GIS) were implemented for several public and private organisations in Spain, including National Social Security System's cleaning services, web street guides, urban planning and land unit concentration works.
