Blom Romania is one of the companies inside Blom Group.

Blom was founded back in 1954 in Norway and is today one of the most important players within mapping, charting and related activities. The Group has companies all around the world, in countries such as: Norway, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Finland, Indonesia, Romania and Moldova.

Blom Romania’s headquarter is also the main production centre of the Group and is located in Targoviste, Dambovita. We also have offices opened in Bucuresti, Constanta, Brasov and Galati.

Within the last year we have dramatically increased the number of our personnel, with more than 35%, compared to December 2007. We count at the time being about 420 employees. It is a significant growth dictated mostly by the recent evolution of market, by the increasing demand for specialized services on both national and international segments.

On local market our products and services are mainly addressed to public authorities, governmental agencies and private companies. On international operations our services are fully dedicated to the other companies inside Blom Group, such us: BlomInfo A/S from Denmark, Blom Kartta from Finland, Blom Aerofilms from UK.

Our company has recently finalised the process of changing the name from BlomInfo-Geonet to Blom Romania. This way we are trying to send a message to all our clients and partners, like a statement saying that we are part of a group who has a strong identity on the international market, and that we share the same values and principles.

Except for the name and the new logo, all information regarding our company remains the same.
